BlackBerry Ghost to Come Sans Bezel; Runs Android OS

With Blackberry’s new handset, code named Ghost, the company is gearing up to set a new trend of bezel-less smart phones. There are rumors that the Blackberry Ghost will be a premium smart phone, and will probably feature a bezel less 18:9 display.

Though there were not much information about the specifications of the product when the rumors were flying thick and fast some time ago, the sleek design of the handset was revealed. The only specifications of the phone now known are that it runs on Android OS and comes with a slim bezel.

The information regarding the date of launch of the handset is also unavailable. The actual name of the handset with the codename Ghost has also not been revealed as yet.

In the year 2016, Blackberry had stopped designing and manufacturing their own smartphones and began licensing the brand out to others, out of which was TCL. BlackBerry smartphones such as KeyOne, Motion and DTEK60 are manufactured by TCL.

The company manufactures and sells BlackBerry smartphones in all countries expect India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Bangladesh. Apart from TCL, the company also has agreements with BB Merah Putih for smartphone manufacturing and distribution in India.
