The Barcelona platform, where the Mobile World Congress 2018 would get underway, is set to have a Nokia event. However, the company has not revealed anything about what it would bring on to the platform.

Even as Nokia enthusiasts have been waiting to know, a leak doing the rounds on the web has given them a sneak peek on two phones made by the company. We expect these two devices to climb on to the display racks next week when the MWC is on.

The leak shows us a phone, believed to be the Nokia 1, and it is said to be in its last leg of circuit before arrival on to the public space. The leaksters, according to folks at GSM Arena, attribute the news to an FCC listing.

Codenamed Nokia TA-1071, the entry-level smartphone is said to have been was approved by the Federal Commission. That also means that the phone is all set to debut.

All of 134 mm in height and 50 mm width, the Nokia 1 measures 136 mm diagonally. Leaving aside the bezel measurements, we need to expect the Nokia 1 to sport a screen size of around 5 inches. As per the FCC listing, the device will have Bluetooth 4.0, 4G LTE and WiFi 2.4 GHz capabilities. A 16:9 display, one camera on the rear with LED flash and another snapper on the front complete the specs.

More likely to be an ultimately affordable handset, the Nokia 1 could sport a price tag close to $99.   But then, let’s wait to hear more from Nokia.
