Smart phones have become an inevitable part of our life. Regardless of the fact that there are many smart phones out in the market, companies are coming up with new products with various attractive features.

A slew of new products are being lined up ahead of this year’s Mobile World Congress. Samsung’s two devices, Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus, are also set for launch. A press event has been planned by Samsung on February 25, in this regard.

The date for pre-order of the phone, which is expected to hit the market on March 16th, is now out. As per the latest reports, the company on 2nd March will start taking pre-orders for Galaxy S 9 and Galaxy S 9 Plus in South Korea. As the global launch of the product is on 16th March, it is assumed that the same date is applicable for other countries.

The latest news regarding the features of the handset is that an intelligent scan feature will be introduced with Galaxy S 9 and Galaxy S 9 Plus. Ensuring advanced security system over standard facial recognition, the new intelligent scan feature is a combination of Iris scanner and facial recognition.

Apart from the reports on pre-order dates, the cost of the S9 handset is also out. The cost for the 64 GB model Galaxy S9 is around $ 890.
