Moto Z is one device that keeps on adding the reasons for buying it, thanks to the introduction of new Moto Mods. The latest of those now comes targeted at Instagram users.

Motorola’s flagship device is receiving a new Moto Mod courtesy of its tie-up with instant camera brand Polaroid. The new Mod, called the Polaroid Insta-Share Printer, rakes up all the capabilities of a Polaroid instant camera, but by making use of the device’s integrated rear-cam. For that matter, this remains the only Moto Mod that doesn’t leaves the rear-camera covered.

The slotted space makes sure that the camera sensors are left uncovered, with the Insta-Share Mod sitting right beneath it when clipped to the rear face of the smartphone. The add-on makes use of the same ZINK technology used in Polaroid’s instant cameras to print photos measuring 2 x 3 inches.

Not only will you be able to print live images, but you can also scroll through your camera roll to have them printed through the mod. Additionally, users will also be able to print images from Facebook, Instagram and Google Photos. An accompanying app also lets you add text and filters to your images before you dispatch them for printing.

Portable printer is seemingly a catchy addition to the Moto Z range of mods, but it doesn’t come cheap. The Polaroid Insta-Share Mod is priced at $199 for starters, which is $80 more than the standalone Polaroid printer. So you would want to consider this only if you are too bothered of carrying an additional portable printer.
