One Plus 5 T Spotted Online with Bezel-less Display

It was last year that One Plus has braced the trend of launching an intermediate device in midst of their flagship launches. One Plus 3T, that was launched shortly after the launch of One Plus came with added power by packing new chipset. Now, it sets like One Plus is carrying that trend forward.

After three months since the launch of One Plus 5, new rumors are now surfacing pointing to a new flagship device from the Chinese manufacturers. Similar to 3T, this won’t be an entirely new variant, but will be an upgraded ‘T’ version of the One Plus 5.

The rumor points towards a new teaser image of the supposed One Plus 5T device. One Plus 5 did came with the most recent SoC and a hefty RAM of 8GB. So quite naturally, the update this time is not related with power this time, and is instead with the display. That said, One Plus will finally be embracing the recent bezel-less trend tried out by almost every other company in the market.

With an aspect ratio of 18:9, the One Plus 5T features a near bezel-less display that will sport a bigger size than that of the One Plus 5. The latter featured a 5.5-inch resolution. So with One Plus 5T, we can expect display of close to 6-inch size, but with nearly the same dimensions as that of the original device. With a bigger display, One Plus 5T will also be the company’s biggest smartphone yet.

The fingerprint panel has been shifted to the rear-side to accommodate the bigger display. The image also suggest an aluminium frame with speakers placed at the bottom side. The smartphone is also expected to provide a better battery.

One Plus is yet to confirm the development of a new device. But rumors suggest that an official announcement would be taking place soon. So we can expect more details to show up ahead of that.
