Huawei Mate 10 Teaser wants to Look Beyond the ‘Galaxy’

Huawei Mate 10, the next Huawei flagship, is all set for debut on October 16. The news has come in the form of a new teaser that has been outed by Huawei Australia.  Likely to be positioned as a high end device, the Huawei Mate 10  will take on devices such as the Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note 8, and the upcoming iPhone 8.

Significantly enough, the device has been teased with a hashtag which goes: #beyondthegalaxy. This could be a reference to Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 8, which has been made official.

A look at the teaser image would also tell you that a part of the Huawei Mate 10’s rear panel is shown. The picture shows a dual camera system, hinting that the Mate 10 will also follow what the earlier Huawei P9, Mate 9, P10, and the P10 Plus devices by staying on with the dual rear cameras.

It needs to be seen that that the company’s love for dual cameras is to further add to the thrust the company has been giving its partnership with Leica.

Contrary to what has been rumored, the teaser tells us that the smart device would not have a fingerprint scanner on its rear. The picture hints at that, but no one knows if it would be there for sure. Other specs expected include extremely thin bezels, Huawei’s new Kirin 970 processor, and more.
