Motorola Moto X4 Images Out in the Open; Device may Debut this Month

If you have been tracking news on Motorola, you probably might have come across reports that said that the company would not be bringing back the Moto X line. But then, those reports are a thing of the past, and now it looks like the Moto X range is alive and kicking.

A picture leak, courtesy of Brazilian homologation agency Anatel, makes us believe that we are in for a new Moto X soon. Going by the images, we need to believe that the Moto X4, or that’s what the device would be called, sports an oval-shaped fingerprint sensor on the bottom. Besides, the company seems to be showing an aversion to bezel thickness too.

The rig might come with a glass back with curved edges. The dual camera feature is of course in place. Move down, and you get to see a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The maker will also give you a turbo charger and a set of earphones along with the device.

The Moto X 4 is expected to come with a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 660, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage with microSD expansion, dual 13MP cameras, a 5MP selfie cam with flash, a 3800mAh battery, and IP68 certification, say guys at Android Police.

The OS would be Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The device is most likely to be shown on August 24th in Brazil.
