Apple Watch Series 3 Might Come Sporting a New Form Factor

August 7, 2017, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

Those who have played with the Apple Watch would agree that it had a cool trendy design. However, there have been many who were not so amused by the way it showed off its form factor. This bunch of people could have something to look forward to with the upcoming Apple Watch Series 3.

The grapevine has it that Apple is bringing in a total change in the new edition’s form factor. Going by what John Gruber at Daring Fireball believes, the next Apple Watch could come to our midst sporting a new form.

The device, which would have LTE connectivity as a prime feature, is likely to arrive this fall.  Though Gruber cautions against believing this rumor fully as he gets it from an unconfirmed source, his assumption seems to toe the same line as what analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had previously said. If you would remember, Kuo had previously claimed that the Apple Watch Series 3 will come with a new redesign.

Gruber’s info takes us back to rumors that had said the smartwatch from Apple would not have much of a redesign and that it would incorporate a few tweaks here and there. The latest brings to us hopes of seeing a fully redesigned watch.

There are also rumors that a micro-LED display could also be part of the new rig.  However, we might have to wait till fall to see what actually is in store.
