Nokia to Bring in Entry-Level Device Alongside Nokia 9 Premium Smartphone

The launch of Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 devices were just the beginning of what was to come. The anticipation is now up for the upcoming flagship launch of Nokia. But it seems like the device won’t be the lone from the returning giant.

Apparently, Nokia will have an entry level smartphone launched that will be lower in specifications than the recently launched Nokia 5 device. The device, all likely to be called the Nokia 2, has been in rumors earlier, but now those are getting believable with the recent leak of an FCC listing.

Accordingly, Nokia 2 will be a low-tier budget smartphone. The front image of the device reveals considerable presence of bezels, contrary to what we see in modern-day premium devices. The camera has been placed on the center of the rear-side, and we expect that to be not greater than 8MP. The design bears a resemblance with older Lumia devices with the LED flash placed alongside.

There is only scarce info available with respect to the specifications. The device seemingly will pack a 4.7-inch display with entry-level specifications arrayed beneath it. That includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor, the base SoC from the chipset manufacturer. We can also expect the RAM to be of 2GB.

Other details are not yet out. Interestingly, Nokia will be launching the device along with its premium Nokia 8, that’s all set to make its debut in the upcoming event on August 16. Indeed, the former won’t be making much buzz, but it would certainly create an appeal in the markets where it’s intended to launch, i.e. the budget market.
