Motorola is all set to bring its first flagship of the year to the stores. The recently announced Z2 Force will be hitting the stores on August 10, and it will be arriving with all those leading spec sheet features that would rival the remaining flagships in the market now.

The Moto Z2 Force will feature a Qualcomm 835 processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Dual-lens setup is another addition, with each of its rear-camera sensors featuring 12MP prowess. The pair will help users capture photos in portrait mode as well as True B&W modes, the latter which will make use of monochromatic tweaks to fine-tune the images. The 5MP front-cam will be accompanied by a flash as well.

The highlight here is the display. Motorola is retaining the shatterproof screen for the Moto Z2 Force. The 5.5-inch QHD AMOLED display will be protected by the ShatterShield technology, which guarantees protection from shatters and cracks. The front-layer is although plastic, which makes it more susceptible to scratches. Unfortunately, Motorola won’t be letting its users replace them with a glass guard either.

The Moto Z2 Force also features a slightly lesser battery of 2730mAh. Moto Z2 Force would work with all the existing MotoMods, so users can get it compensated with the battery MotoMod. Alongside, Motorola will also be launching a new 360-degree camera MotoMod which will record also feature 360-degree audio recording.

Moto Z2 Force will run Android 7.1 Nougat OS, but an upgrade to Android O upon its release is on the cards. The arrival of Android O would also bring in Bluetooth 5.0 technology on-board. The device will be available in black, white/gold and lunar gray color, the latter which will be exclusive to T-Mobile. Moto Z2 Force is retailing at a price of $720, which will also hand you a Insta-Share Projector MotoMod if purchased within a limited period.
