Samsung Note 8 Leaks Indicates Reiteration of a Major Drawback of Galaxy S8

Samsung’s Note successor is readying up for a launch in a couple of months’ time. There have already been rumors about the new features of the device, the most significant of them being the addition of dual camera and display embedded fingerprint sensors.

With Note 8, Samsung is expected to bring dual-cam for the first time in its smartphone. But it’s the display-embedded sensor that had made more noise ever since it was rumored for Galaxy S8. However, the company’s plan to rush the device has forced them to omit the feature from the device and keep it reserved for its next flagship, which is the Note 8.

Unfortunately, things aren’t looking good again for Samsung as the same reasons are now believed to be squeezing out the chances of front display-embedded fingerprint sensors from Note 8. Previous rumors have already pinpointed this, and now, new leaks are also pointing towards the same.

Leaks of new case designed by manufacturer Olixar is the one which cements the presence of a more traditional fingerprint sensor at the back near the camera. A set of three images showcasing its new cases has been leaked, all of which bears the additional space for fingerprint sensors on its rear side.

That’s also an indication that Samsung is disinclined to shift the position of the fingerprint sensors despite being criticized in Galaxy S8. Additionally, the Note 8 being a bigger device will only cause more worries to the user with its positioning of the fingerprint sensor to the right of the top-placed camera. The Note 8 is also said to feature a display of 6.3-inch, which will be slightly bigger than the 6.2-inch sized Samsung Galaxy S8.
