Moto E Return Grabs Eyeballs with Large Battery

It was just around a month ago that Motorola launched its new Moto C device, the affordable budget device. With its entry, it was widely speculated that Motorola would do away with the Moto E series. However, that’s not the case, as Motorola has now brought back the E series with two new devices; the E4 and the E4 Plus.

Not only has Motorola ended the surrounding speculations, but it has also uplifted the device to be better equipped than the C series smartphones. Both the devices are priced above the budget range Moto C smartphone, and also comes with adequate specs to put them in a higher segment.

The Moto E4 Plus and Moto E4 will be packed with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 core-quad chipset, and it will be paired with a RAM of 2 GB. The devices will get an onboard storage of 16 GB, with the bigger device also receiving a variant that will get pumped up with 32 GB inbuilt storage.

As indicated by the name, the Moto E4 Plus will feature a bigger 5.5-inch display over the 5-inch display of the Moto E4. Both the displays will though feature the same 720p resolution. The front cam of both the device will feature a 5MP sensor with front facing flash. But the Plus variant holds the upper edge in the rear-cam with its 13MP sensor over the 8MP sensor used in the Moto E4. However, the biggest rift is with the battery.

The Moto E4 will pack a modest battery of 2800 mAh. But with Moto E4 Plus, the company has raised the bars massively by including a massive 5000 mAh battery. It would be for the first time that Motorola will be packing a humungous battery for its cheap range of smartphones.

The devices will run Android Nougat 7.1 out of the box. Moto E4 and E4 Plus will be hitting the stores this month with respective price tags of $129 and $179.
