iPhone 8 Dummy Model Images Surface Upholding the Rumored Features

With the wait for the grand iPhone 8 launch becoming narrower, concerns among the user minds have grown a bit given the inclination the rumors are bearing right now. But thanks to the recently leaked dummy model images that those worries can be shrugged off.

Twitter user Benjamin Geskin has leaked a set of images of the supposedly CNC dummy model of the much anticipated iPhone 8, and if those are to go by, then iPhone 8 will indeed feature the traits we have been expecting.

Recent rumors have suggested an aluminium chassis for the iPhone 8, but as per the images, the device will go forward with the glass and stainless steel combo that will have curved edge-to-edge display packed on its front. The edges have almost been completely wiped out from the front side, giving birth to the first bezel-less iPhone from Apple

More relieving is the fact that the model doesn’t feature Touch IDs on it back. And given the edge-to-edge display, it apparently becomes a certainty that iPhone 8 will have fingerprint sensors embedded underneath the screen.

A set of rumors have suggested that the Cupertino Company would make a U-turn with its decision to stick with embedded sensors in a bid to tackle the production crisis. However, that doesn’t seem the case according to the dummy model. What appears on the rear-side is the provision for the dual-cam setup, and similar to the predecessor, it will take the vertical form, i.e. with one lens beneath the other.

However, it’s still not clear of the production stages of the models in the image. It also doesn’t feature an Apple logo from its back. Yet, it would be great to see the upcoming iPhone 8 come out in a similar form, particularly for the impressive bezel less display the model features.
