Instagram Adds Exclusive Features for iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus Devices

Instagram is getting better for the latest editions of iPhones. The photo hosting app has now introduced a couple of new features that can be enjoyed on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus devices.

The respective app versions now come with support for wide color support and Live Photos, both of which were announced along with a host of new features during the special event of Apple held in September 2016.

The former will let users capture wide range of hues using their iPhone 7 devices. The feature has been implemented by adjusting the existing filters that are used in the app. iPhone 7 users will also get to enjoy the new features without updating their app, as Instagram appears to have already laid the spadework with its previous update.

Along with the support for wide color support, Instagram has also introduced support for Live Photos to Instagram Stories. Users can now transform their Live Photos directly to to-and-froth Boomerang images without entering the Boomerang app.

Live Photos can also be directly clipped to Instagram stories. Users can upload the Live Photos to Instagram stories by simply performing a forceful 3D-Touch over the Live Photos that were captured in last 24 hours.

Instagram has also announced another big feature back in September, and it was the one-finger zoom option that allows iPhone 7 users to access the device’s telephoto lens by swiping across the screen with a finger. However, the feature hasn’t gone live until now. We believe it will only be made available in a future update.
