Screens is the Perfect App for Quick-Launching Apps in Split-Screen Mode

Android 7.0 Nougat has finally introduced the support for split screen multitasking in smartphones. However, there’s still a snag; it can get menacing if you are not willing to be patient in assigning the apps.

That’s because Google has been rejigging the specifics through its Nougat update. The latest of them removed the UI tuner’s swipe gesture alongside adjusting the entire home button behavior. This has made the process of assigning multi-tasking apps even awkward.

But we have apps that sort out almost any of such issues in Android, and there is one for solving this multi-tasking trouble too. Screens is the answer, and it’s an app that’s available at your disposal to easily lodge your favorite apps on to the split-screen window.

Screens also offers a simple interface to get rid of any possible confusion in users’ mind. There are only two buttons which you can tap to add the apps. Alongside, there’s also a text button so that you can assign a name to your split-screen shortcut.

Once done, the shortcut for the specified apps will appear on your home-screen, and tapping them will immediately open them in split-screen. There is also no limit on the number of shortcuts that can be generated through Screens.

Screens is also able to run the apps that are already running in the background. However, users have to ensure that the apps provided do offer support for multi-tasking. If not, Screens could end crashing your running apps.

Users can download the app from Google Play here. Definitely, you will be required to have Android 7.0 or higher to have it downloaded in your device.
