Google is at it yet again. After hurling a bunch of apps to ease the travel and navigation of its users, the company is now out with an app that serves as a complete planner for your trips during vacations.

Called Trips, the new app is a personalized trip planner that grasps in all details before setting up a complete guide of a trip to your preferred location. This includes a host of tasks like organizing your hotel and travel reservations details, setting up day plans while on a trip, listing out the interesting things you can do based on locations, suggesting you the best places for having foods and drinks, and much more.

All these should be accessible on the go in between your trip. That’s why Google has also introduced an offline support feature so that users don’t get to miss these details even if they are out of data connectivity during the trip. The details can be simply saved offline by clicking the Download button available with each category.

The app makes use of email logs as well as users’ Google history to bring out the personalized plans and suggestions for improving your trip experience. As of now, Google Trips brings out the guide for over 200 cities around the world. The app is available free on both iOS and Android devices.

Google Trips is a result of over two years of work by the Google team, Richard Holden, vice president of product management at Google. Earlier, the company has also launched a bunch of travel related apps and services like Destinations that helped users plan trips within mobile searches. The company has also upgraded its hotel and flight search features recently.
