TVPRO HD6 is a $134 Tiny PC Disguised as a Webcam

Dedicated webcams aren’t new to the markets; they come with in-built hardware to facilitate video conferences with ease on your TVs. The new TVPRO HD6 also falls under the same category, but its relative-greater power pushes it ahead of the rest to be called as a tiny computer.

One major feature that draws the line here is the OS running inside. There have been many Chinese products that featured Android OS. But TVPRO HD6 has preferred the path from Microsoft, and comes loaded with Windows 10 in it. So, will it be possible to run this webcam as a PC in your TVs? Of course, and it do comes with ample hardware to perform so.

TVPRO HD6 doesn’t feature robust power like your desktop PCs or laptops. But it still can run the required operations smoothly with its Intel Atom Z3735F processor that runs inside. It comes paired with a RAM of 2GB, and this is nothing less than what’s offered by a first-gen Intel Compute Stick.

On the storage front, the TVPRO HD6 features 32GB of internal space, and this can be expanded with the microSD card slot that’s provided along. It also offers two USB 2.0 ports, 2 HDMI outputs, and an Ethernet port, and these are accompanied by 802.11b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0 technologies for connectivity.

TVPRO HD6 is also not big enough like it would sound with all these hardware. It measures 2 7.9″ x 1.9″ x 1.4″, making them slightly bigger than normal webcams. But it’s still small to fit smoothly atop your TVs or monitors.

TVPRO HD6 is available through Chinese website AliExpress, and is priced for $146, which makes it a fair deal price-wise. The bundle also features an air mouse with a QWERTY keyboard.
