Invite iOS App from Microsoft to Ease the Task of Scheduling Meetings

Here’s an app from Microsoft that has hit iTunes before appearing in its own Windows Phone market, or Android.

It’s called Invite, and it’s arriving to relieve you from the concerns of scheduling group meetings.

With an aim to organize meetings on the go, Invite lets organizers schedule a list of dates and times to the attendees, and receive the confirmation from attendees about the dates on which they can make it.

Likewise, it offers an effortless way to schedule your meetings so that it can be carried out without any delay due to timing mismatches.

The convenient dates are visible not just to the organizers, but for everyone. Any attendee can check the convenient dates suggested by the rest, so that they can fix the timings before having the meetings confirmed.

Once the sender is up with the final date, they can also send calendar invites to all the attendees to whom the enquiry has been made.

Although being a standalone app, Microsoft says that Invite works the best with Office 365 Business and School subscriptions. It offers the integration also with other services like Outlook, Gmail, and Yahoo Mail.

Currently, the app is available for download only for iOS devices. But it will be soon rolled out to Windows Phone and Android devices.

The new app has been developed by Microsoft Garage, the collaborative group of designers and engineers within Microsoft who have previously brought out apps like Send and Tossup.

The group is responsible for those apps that drift off from Microsoft’s mainstream apps, and those that are rolled out more as experimental efforts.
