Windows 10 Device Line-Up Might Debut Next Month

Microsoft is gearing up for an event in New York next month. Scheduled for October 6th, the new event is expected to showcase the range of new Windows 10 devices that would arrive this year, which would also include the long rumoured Surface Pro 4 tablets.

The event was revealed by Microsoft in form of invitations to the media, which read “we have some exciting news to share about Windows 10 devices”.

After having Windows 10 unfurled for PCs and laptops already, it can be believed that the event will centre its focus upon the portable devices, which are yet to feature Windows 10 fully fledged.

Previously, Microsoft has made it clear that they won’t alter the form factor of the Surface Pro 4.

However, with the debut of Apple’s new bigger tablet, Microsoft might sure have thoughts on beefing up the device so as to keep it in the forefront.

New additions may include Intel RealSense camera, a new fingerprint sensor, Microsoft Hello, and a redesigned Surface keyboard.

Alongside, other devices are also rumored like a new version of Microsoft Band, and a Lumia device with Windows 10 running in it, probably the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.

We haven’t yet got to know how the new OS from Microsoft would find its slot in compact devices, so that’s another device to look forward in the upcoming event from Microsoft.

Recently, @evleaks has come up with a couple of snaps and full specifications of the new Lumia devices, codenamed Cityman and Talkman. The device was also said to be making its debut during October.
