iPhone 6S, 6S Plus, iPad Pro, Pencil, and Everything from Apple Event

September 10, 2015, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

The Apple event in San Francisco finally introduced the long-rumoured line-up of devices from the Cupertino based company. Along with the expected announcements, Apple has also pulled out a few surprises off its sleeve like always.

And it’s now up to the consumers to decide whether those will prove to be of any worth.

iPhone 6S and 6S Plus

Perhaps the most anticipated of all devices were essentially the S-tagged versions of the iPhone 6. And like it has been every year, Apple has materialized their process of vamping up the successor device.

With a faster A9 processor and improved network support, the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus devices will feature the iOS 9 OS, which has been designed to yield a better battery and overall performance from the iPhone devices.

The3 devices also feature an improved 12MP camera that now lets users capture pictures with better sharpness and qualities, low-light images, Live Photos, and also supports 4K video-capture as rumoured.

iPad Pro

The post-Steve Jobs era has witnessed Apple having a plenty of rethought, including the one that forced them to roll out bigger sized smartphones.

However, the company still has got firm views with respect to their tablet section, keeping in mind the views of Job that the device must not get lesser than 9.7-inch.

The latest iPad from the house of Apple features a screen-size of 12.9-inch screen, and arrives with a resolution of 2732×2048. The display remains the key attraction of this iPad giant.

Yet, there are also other fine additions like the new $169 Smart keyboard deck, and a new-stylus addition which Apple calls Pencil.

The $99-priced gadget has been launched to offer ease to the users with digital drawings, illustrations, calligraphic works and much more with their iPad Pro. However, the addition is also yet another innovation that’s deviating from the thoughts of Steve Jobs.

Apple TV

The event has also finally waved the flag for the redesigned Apple TV, which has come a long way skipping past the hurdles. Apple initially had plans to launch this one during the WWDC conference in June, which unfortunately never happened.

The new redesign will now have Apple TV turn more of its attention towards the gaming section with the introduction of new apps. It also has got many improvements over the older version, and the most salient feature among those is the addition of Siri that feathers the crown of the new tvOS.

Besides, Apple has also introduced some rejigs to their Apple Watch, which include gold-tinted Watch Sport devices, the new tie-up with Hermès that will launch  Apple Watch Hermès, and a few extra shades for the plastic Sports band.

Of all the new devices, the first to appear on market will be the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus devices, which will have their pre-order commenced on September 12th. The smartphones will be arriving the following week, on September 18th.
