A week after the global unwinding of Galaxy S6 Edge+, Samsung has decided to bring its newbie to the Indian shores.

The flagship model, priced at INR 57,900, will be available starting next week. Pre-orders opened on Wednesday.

The version announced for the Indian markets is the 32GB edition. Although there is a 64GB version announced globally, we are not quite sure whether the South Korean manufacturers will bring in the bigger version to Indian shores at a later stage.

The decision will also pretty much depend upon how the Indian users welcome the upcoming model.

Coming back to the 32GB version, the device brags a display of 5.7-inch screen size and packs a QHD resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. Samsung is reverting to the Exynos 7420 processor with Edge+, which will feature a 64-bit octa-core processor, and will also have a RAM of 4GB inside.

The device will feature a 16MP OIS f1.9 rear camera, that’s coupled with a 5MP front cam. Unfortunately, it doesn’t pack the C-type adapter port, and will be housing the micro-USB 2.0 port in it. There will also be a space for the fingerprint scanner.

Galaxy S6 Edge+ will be running Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, and will be juiced up by a battery of 3,000 mAh capacity. Users buying the device can also trigger 100GB of free storage in OneDrive cloud storage.

Galaxy S6 Edge+ will be storming its way into the market on August 28th, and users can select from four color options; White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, and Silver Titanium.
