Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus Launch Near

August 7, 2015, By Daniel Rapcencu

We are inching closer to the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event scheduled at New York on the coming 13th, and rumors on the launches are piling up.

On the cards are newbie devices from the Note and Galaxy S series, and even a possible announcement of the round Gear smartwatch.

The recent one to pop-up was from @evleaks, who has got a pretty decent record of bringing out the right speculations.

A snap of the upcoming Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is what he has got in his new revelation, along with an insight to what we can expect with the spec arrangement on the Note 5 device.

According to him, the new Galaxy Note 5 will sport an octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, which combines quad-core working of a 2.1GHz processor and a 1.5GHz processor. With an in-built storage of 32GB, the device will pack a RAM of 4GB, with the camera pair speculated to be of 16MP and 5MP. And yes, it does bring the Stylus pen along with it.

Not much light has been thrown over the Edge Plus variant, but earlier reveals suggest that the device will be a phablet version of the previously launched Galaxy S6 Edge model.

The device features a dual-curved display on its edges, and comes with a larger display, equaling its size with the Note 5 variant. It wouldn’t be a surprise either if it gets pulled out as an Edge variant of the Note 5 device.

A recent reveal also suggest that S6 Edge Plus has been priced at EUR 799. No word yet on the pricing of Note 5 however.
