Meizu M1 Note Smartphone to Debut Online on May 20th

May 19, 2015, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

It seems like there’s a never-ending relation between Chinese smartphones and the Indian market.

Ever since the spark was triggered some time agos, Chinese smartphone vendors have been flooding the Indian market. The latest to get added to the list is  Meizu.

In an exclusive tie-up with Amazon, Meizu will be flushing out its first batch of M1 Note smartphones this Wednesday, May 20th.

The flagship device will give sturdy competition to the fablet segment with its spec-assemble and features.

However, it also carries along an infamous trait for its resemblance with the iPhone 5c model. (Not the first time a Chinese vendor is mocked as an Apple product rip-off , though)

The dual-SIM smartphone offers LTE support, however lacks 2G or 3G support with the second slot. Featuring a 5.5-inch screen, the device brags a full HD resolution to yield a pixel density of 403 ppi.

The inner core of the device sports a MT6752 64-bit octa-core processor. The chipset would be accompanied by a Mali T760 MP2 GPU.

A 13 MP camera forms the rear part of the device and packs a dual-LED flash alongside it, which is a must-have in all Chinese flagship phones. The front cam is powered by a 5MP snapper that features f2.0 aperture.

The device is juiced up by a 3140mAh battery, which accumulates the 2G talk-time of the device to around 40hours. In effect, you will be granted 12 hours of web-surfing on 4G networks, 15-hours of video playback, and up to 60 hours of music playback with the M1 Note.

The device is expected to offer multiple back casing which includes shades of blue, white, red, yellow and green.

Memory and storage details have been left unrevealed. Meizu has also not said anything on the pricing of the device too, which can be expected to be known only by the time it goes on sale in a few hours from now.
