The 1st Semi Final between New Zealand and South Africa is going on in Auckland. The first innings of the match is already over, and South Africa has scored 281 runs with the loss of five wickets.

Rain interrupted the match in the midst, and now the target for New Zealand has been reassessed to 298 runs in 43 overs.

The unexpected rain which showered in Auckland compelled the Umpires to play the match with 43 overs for both sides.

Devilliers win toss

Earlier, South Africa who batted first lost their two early wickets within the first 10 overs.

Trent Boult, the aspiring pacer in the New Zealand bowling department picked the wickets of Hashim Amla and Quentin De Kock in quick succession.

But after that du Plessis and Rossouw rebuilt the innings and they put up a third wicket partnership of 83 runs.

But it was David Miller and AB de Villiers who helped South Africa to build a mammoth score within 43 overs. AB de Villiers scored 65 runs in 45 balls with eight boundaries and one six. Miller was in full fury, and he scored a quick 49 in just 18 balls.

SA: 381 in 43 overs
