Rumored first as HTC Hima Ultra, the M9 Plus was anticipated with bated breath even more than the announced HTC One M9 smartphone.

The latter is now getting the spadework done for its prime debut in the market.

However, the absence of a single word about M9 Plus during MWC 2015 led many to feel suspicious on the future of this smartphone. Now you may have to wind up such thoughts, as a new leak suggests that the flagship beast will be revealing itself pretty soon.

HTC One M9+, as it is called now, is reported as getting ready for release during the early days of Q2. @upleaks has suggested that the newbie would be presented by HTC during late Q1 or early Q2.

They have also implied that the smartphone will be released for Europe, Middle East and Asian markets, with distinct processor variants depending on the region.

It is reported that One M9+ will be arriving with Mediatek processor for the Asian region, and with the Snapdragon 810 SoC for the rest. The permutations may vary upon the final release.

The 5.2 inch smartphone would be featuring a QHD display, which would be accompanied by high-end tech-specs like a 20MP front cam, 3GB RAM, 32 GB ROM, 13 MP front camera and a 2840 mAh battery.

Earlier rumors implied that the smartphone would feature a Touch Sensor, which would be placed on the front side.

The device would be running Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, which would have the interface of HTC Sense 7.0.
