As per latest updates, Sri Lanka has scored226 runs with the loss of one wicket in 41 overs. Veterans, Thilakaratne Dilshan (101) and Kumar Sangakkara (60) are batting for the islanders now.

Sri Lanka’s decision to bat first was proved right as their openers put up a scintillating partnership of 122 runs. Lahiru Thirimanner was dismissed at a score of 52. The young man succeeded in giving huge support to Thilakaratne Dilshan who batted in a quite attacking manner.

Dilshan’s ton comprised of ten boundaries. Kumar Sangakkara hit eight boundaries in his innings of 60.
