LG’s New Music Flow Series Offer Wi-Fi Portable Speakers that Play Music from Your Smartphone on its Own

LG has come up with its first portable battery-operated Wi-Fi speaker. The new Music Flow Wi-Fi series speakers from the South Korean manufacturer feature new soundbars, wired speakers and a portable speaker that embrace some quirky features to its name.

LG’s new addition to its Music Flow series comprises some of the widely heard features of Bluetooth playback, Wi-Fi streaming and the like.

But it turns distinct with the features like auto-play, and Line app support. The new auto-play feature from Music Flow will start playing music on its own once you are in the near vicinity to the Music Flow speakers. That requires the LG Music Flow app to be installed on your iOS/Android devices.

Another cool feature is the Line app support offered by the surround system. You could now interact with the Music Flow speakers through chats on Line app.

Once done by adding the system to your Line contact, you could send messages which will eventually control the playback in your Music Flow system.

Commands like “play songs for party” will turn the music to full boom, while music could be timely controlled with messages like turn “off music after an hour” or “Good Night”.

Music Flow is also able to stream music from CD and USB playback devices, smartphones and even networked streaming services like Spotify, Napster, Rhapsody, iHeartRadio, and TuneIn.

LG Music Flow wireless speaker uses the dual-band Wi-Fi band to stream audio. The new Music Flow additions also include three new soundbars and three wired speakers alongside its first ever portable battery operated Wi-Fi speaker.

The new Music Flow line would start its shipment in the early months of 2015. However, LG has not yet spilled the beans over the pricing of its new devices. More can be expected to be disclosed in the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next month.
