Modi magic is likely to work once again, as BJP has already procured the initial leads in the Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir elections. As per earlier initial polls, it has been predicted that BJP will procure majority in Jharkhand.

As per latest update after one hour of counting, PDP and BJP is leading in 10 and 7 seats respectively in Jammu and Kashmir.

BJP is leading in 5 seats in Jharkhand, whereas JMM and Congress is leading in one seat each.
Exit Polls conducted by reputed surveyors claim that a ‘hanging assembly’ will be formed in ‘Jammu and Kashmir’.

The scintillating performance that BJP showed in the recent Haryana and Maharashtra elections are expected to be repeated again in Jharkhand as well. Jharkhand Legislative assembly comprises of 81 seats, and Exit Polls predicts that BJP will procure somewhere between 41-52 seats.

On the other hand, this year marked the highest voting percentage in Jammu and Kashmir after the 1975 elections. Many exit polls claim that PDP will come up with flying colors in this election.

BJP will also find their feet in Jammu and Kashmir, even though they may fail to procure the magic number of 44. Due to the strong dissatisfaction against the ruling Government, Congress and National Conference will not be even there in the competitive chart in this election. Rumors on National Conference’s association with BJP after the elections have been rubbished by party sources.
