Liquid E700 Marks Acer Budget Market Foray; Smartphone Features Mid-range Specs

Acer is getting back to business in the field of mobile technology in India with newly launched smartphones, branded under the Liquid series. Among these is the E700, which has been launched to take on mid-range budget smartphones.

Priced at Rs 11,999, the E700 brings an extra support in terms of connectivity with its triple SIM support. Another plus from the newbie is a larger capacity battery. E700 is packed with a 3500 mAh battery placed within a matte finish removable casing.

The phone appears to have a sturdy exterior with Acer adopting a curved approach to its build. Covering the major share of its front space is the 5-inch screen, below which is placed the touch buttons and the mono speaker at the bottom.

Moving on to its internal specs, the E700 offers performance that’s more than satisfactory for its pricing. The heart of the E700 is occupied by MediaTek MT6582 quad-core processor, which has been clocked to speeds of 1.2 GHz.

Multitasking will never be an issue as 2GB RAM is offered by Acer for this Liquid smartphone. The 5-inch screen also boasts an HD resolution of 1280x720p.

The E700 comes equipped with an 8 MP camera on its rear that packs LED flash beneath. On its front, it packs a 2MP camera for video calls and selfie shoots.

Running on Android KitKat OS, Acer E700 brings its customary user interface called Float UI to E700, that includes some highlighting features like Quick Mode, multi-app windows, etc.

With a price of Rs 11,999, E700 will be taking on mid-range budget phones like Moto G new gen, Asus Zenfone 5, etc which fall under the same price range.

Acer has also launched another variant called Liquid Jade, bringing in some improvements in tech specs. It is priced at Rs 16,999.
