Ranji Trophy Cricket Tournament, widely considered as the top notch domestic tournament in India is going on in steady pace in various locations of the nation.

The tournament is conducted in a highly impeccable manner, and teams are classified as Group A, B and C.

The 2014 Renji Season got kick started yesterday. Four matches each are going on in every groups, and it becomes a total of 12 in total.

Group A:
Match 01: Karnataka ended its first innings with 290 runs. Tamil Nadu who started batting by the end of day 1 is now 22/0, and they are trailing by 268 runs.
Match 02: Sudeep Chatterjee who is batting with 91 runs helped Bengal to reach a good score 255/3 against Baroda at the end of 1st day.
Match 03: Railways succeeded in wrapping up the Madhya Pradesh innings at 181. Railways started their 1st innings in a slow manner, and they are now 21/0.
Match 04: Jammu Kashmir is on 88/1 at the end of first innings. Mumbai who batted first got all out for 236 runs.

Group B:
Match 01: At the end of 1st Day, Haryana is now 19/1. Punjab who batted first ended their first innings at 273 runs.
Match 02: Gautham Gambhir who lost the team in Indian ODI squad for World Cup hit a scintillating century in this match, and it helped Delhi to reach a score of 260/6 against Saurashtra.
Match 03: Odisha has scored 223/5 against Maharashtra.
Match 04: Gujarat is in a very strong position of 258/4 against Rajasthan at the end of Day 1.

Group C:
Match 01: Hyderabad is going strong with a score of 281/6 by the end of first day against Andhra Pradesh.
Match 02: Services got all out at a score of 226 runs, and in reply, Himachal Pradesh has scored 19/0 at the end of first day.
Match 03: Assam is now 68/4 at the end of the first day against Tripura who got all out for 135 runs.
Match 04: Goa is going strong in the match against Kerala, and they are 313/6 at the end of first day.
