Personal cloud storage devices are aplenty these days with security offerings being the dominant concern. If you are on the lookout for one, why not try out NUZii. It could prove more than your personal secure cloud storage system – NUZii has got what it takes to retrofit your home with smartness.

Billed as the world’s first all-in-one smart life device, NUZii is a platform that brings your storage and security concerns and much more in one hood.

The basic service it offers is cloud storage which can be accessed by any device in your home, the striking feature being the storge option being offered through your own hard drives with no monthly payments.

But it would be a shame to categorize the device as a simple file sharing and storage platform as NUZii offers functions beyond our thoughts.

Packed with an HD camera, the device comprises motion sensors, temperature sensors and humidity sensors so as to put it to the core of your home automation.

It also programs itself based on your routine activities or on how you control your devices and can be integrated with systems such as Philips Hue, LIFX, Google Nest, Lockitron and much more.

You could also switch it as your Bluetooth speaker with the built-in speakers that can stream audios from your devices, alongside providing share options on the go.

Another noteworthy feature is the security offerings. NUZii offers wireless networking with VPN and TOR and also provides malware and firewall protection for keeping track of your net usage.

It is also quite handy. Measuring only 4 inches in height and weighing around 160 grams, Nuzzi can easily be shifted across locations. The rear of the device is packed with connectivity ports which include those for audio jack, micro USB, Ethernet and USB.

The device is currently being crowd-funded on Kickstarter, where it has already raised one-third of its goal with around 20 days to go.
