November 16, 2014, By M Sohini

The second test match between Pakistan and New Zealand will take place at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 17th November 2014.

The hosts will be trying to attack the visitors with no mercy, and they will be aiming to win the series in style. Pakistan had won the first test match in a huge margin of 248 runs, and this have literally raised the confidence level of the team to a great extend.

Pakistan is quite strong in both the department of game play. The batsmen have put a decent performance in the first test, but it was the spinners who helped the hosts to wrap up New Zealand innings on 262 and 231 in a batting friendly Sheikh Zayed Stadium pitch.

The variations and turn of Zulfiqar Babar and Yasir Shah pulled New Zealand batsmen to a state of trouble in the first match, and the same is expected from Dubai as well. Pacer Rahat Ali is also in peak form and it will add salt to the New Zealand wound.

New Zealand batting lineup is strong in cards, but they are failing miserably to put up a decent performance. The only batsman who can be trusted is opener Rod Latham who combated the powerful Pakistan Spin attack with patience and class.

The match will be live telecasted on Sky Sports and Ten Sports in New Zealand and Asia respectively.

PTV Sports and their official website is live streaming the match in Pakistan.

Pakistan will miss the service of opener Ahmed Shehzad in the second test, as he got his skull fractured while facing a Corey Anderson bouncer.
