Apple Gold iPad Air 2 Comes Sporting Touch Id Sensor and Better Processor

We are standing just a tad away from the Apple event to occur at Cupertino and amidst the plethora of rumors that are flooding the headline space.

Retina Display iMac and Yosemite OS have had a transcending appearance, but recent news had shed light on the new iPad Air that may make its debut at the event.

Taiwanese blog sparked the wildfire by leaking out images of the new gold iPad Air 2 and has also let slip some of the hardware to feature in the newbie. The tablet is reported to feature a Touch ID fingerprint sensor and Apple Pay alongside scaled up processing powers.

Rumors on the iPad Air 2 sporting a golden exterior had been doing the rounds for quite some tinme. The latest news confirms the grapevine buzz. Shades of silver and grey are also reported to be accompanying the golden rear cover of the 9.7 inch tablet.

Images of the chipset are enough to clear doubts of many. The iPad Air 2 will be featuring the Touch ID sensor and will also boast higher processing capabilities than its predecessor.

The A8 chip in the logic board has now seen a replacement with an upgraded A8X chip and will also pack a RAM of 2 GB, twofold of that in the previous tablets.

Expectations are also that a 12.7 inch tablet might also be on its way, but then it may a tad more time before the debut happens.

The new devices and OS will have their launch at Apple in a while and would be hitting the sales counters by the 24th of this month. Yosemite OS for Mac will have an early roll out and will be offered to users as free download.
