Samsung is all set to shift gear in the Indian market where it is seemingly losing its stronghold to the Indian manufacturers.

We hear Samsung is planning to launch their new low-end mobile featuring the Tizen OS in the Indian markets.

The device would be the first smartphone featuring  the experimental Tizen OS to arrive in the Indian market.

Tizen had made its first appearance in Sammy’s the Galaxy Gear smartwatches that were unveiled a year ago. Samsung would now be loading the Tizen 2.3 version to its new smartphones.

It is being rumored that the new device would have its release during the last months of this year. Speculations on the specs are also doing the rounds.

It is being said that the Tizen smartphone would come packed with a 3.2 megapixel camera.

It would also be pre-loaded with a bunch of apps, including the social networking ones and Samsung’s own software.

The Tizen powered device would also be featuring FM and Club Samsung 2.0 service alongside the support for dual-SIM.

It was earlier announced that Samsung would be launching the Samsung Z device which would be featuring the Tizen OS.

But with the launch  pushed for a later date, we need to assume that the new entry-level device being talked about could be the Samsung Z. Let’s wait to know from Samsung.
