Cadillac Flagship Model to Get into Production Mode during Last Quarter of 2015

General Motors have announced that its new flagship model will have its unveiling in the early quarter of next year. They have also mentioned that the new addition will roll out the following year.

The luxury car maker, however, hasn’t spelt out much about their new flagship model, which is expected to be placed above the XTS sedan. The new model is likely to come boasting of all the top end features and might feature state-of-the-art technologies on arrival.

Cadillac, who once reigned over the luxury automotive terrain, has now been pushed behind by Mercedes, Audi and BMW. With their new model, Cadillac would be eyeing to hit the turbo gear so that it would be able to cruise back into the segment.

It is expected that the focus would be shifted to its design lay-out, with much of the recent analyses pointing out that the design features need some sprucing up.

Despite improving the numbers when it comes to international sales, Cadillac had witnessed a decline in their domestic sales across the US by around 5%.

The yearly domestic sales of Cadillac currently represent figures that stand at half the number of cars sold by Mercedes in the January-August period.

The key to win back the throne now will be handed over to the new model, which would have its production under the roofs of the Detroit-Hamtramck facility. Let’s wait to know what the car would look like when it finally rolls out.
