Gear Up for Next-Gen with the New SanDisk 512 GB Extreme Pro SDXC Card

Gone are the days when you used to get baffled over being given to pick 256 MB and 512 MB cards. The tech world then got to work in a bid to explore bigger storage space for SD cards.

And finally, American drive manufacturer SanDisk has made the largest of all a reality. Believe it or not, the new SanDisk Extreme Pack would pack in 512 GB of storage space.

To know how much that would be, do have a check on your system storage. You will be amazed to know that the number doubles or triples compared to what you already have The 512 GB SDXC card falls under the Class 10 label for SD cards, which is high up the ladder in terms of speed and durable transfers.

Though there exist only a handful of devices that can accommodate this high-size SD card, the future for the SandDisk 512 GB card is wide open. We say this because the demand for additional space seems to be of a never-ending nature.

Added to that, we now have a widespread presence of 4K videos, which this SDXC card would look at capitalizing.

These could also find its space in the new gen 4K video capture devices, where the less storage drives prove to be inadequate.

The SanDisk Extreme Pro 512 GB has been priced at $800; huge storage indeed calls for huge pricing. SanDisk has also lined up the smaller GB versions of Extreme Pro, which include 128 GB and 256 GB, obviously coming out at lower price.
