In terms of changes, the hosts will be happy to get back their seamer John Mooney, who has been off radar for some time due to various issues. However, they are missing out on their opener Ed Joyce, but will have a good side with captain Kevin O’Brien, Max Sorensen and George Dockrell.

Scotland is unlikely to have any big changes for the series, and as always, they lean on Richie Berrington and Majid Haq for experience.

Both the teams will be heading to Australia next for World Cup preparations, so winning the series is a big boost.

Kevin O’Brien remains the backbone of the Irish side, especially with the skipper’s hat to don. Given his aggression with the bat and amazing seam bowling, he can change numbers here.

For the Scotland side, Majid Haq will be man to watch for. With his form in place, the visitors may have some surprises to offer.
