August 22, 2014, By George Lang

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to field first in the 2nd ODI against West Indies being played at the National Cricket Stadium, St George’s, Grenada on August 22, 2014.

There was rain just before the start of the match. And Bangladesh rightly preferred to field first to take advantage of the moisture.

This is the same pitch on which the first ODI was played. It is expected to play slow. As a result of the rain, Bangladesh left-arm spinner Abdur Razzak was included in the playing XI in place of fast bowler Taskin Ahmed.

The West Indies squad is unchanged.

The hosts won the first ODI and they will look to win this one too and bag the three ODI series.

When the latest reports came in, after 30 overs, the West Indies scores was 142/2.
