‘Singham Returns’ Total Worldwide Box-Office Collections Report

Making a huge roar at the ticket windows, Ajay Devgn starrer “Singham Returns” has managed to make huge mark at the box office with Rs. 50 crores coming in just two days of the release.

The movie, which released on August 15, 2014, has taken over Salman Khan starrer “Kick” to become the biggest opener of 2014 with Rs.32.09 cr collections on the first day.

Trade analyst and critic Taran Adarsh posted, “#SinghamReturns packs a SOLID PUNCH. Collects Rs. 32.09 cr nett on Fri. BIGGEST OPENER OF 2014 [so far]. India biz.”

The screen count of “Singham Returns” was comparatively lesser than that of “Kick”, but the weekend collections will ensure it makes a good total.


The movie continued it’s the dream run on Saturday itself. The second day collections of “Singham Returns” is massive ₹ 21.05 cr.

Adarsh posted, “#SinghamReturns Fri 32.09 cr, Sat 21.05 cr. Total: ₹ 53.14 cr nett. India biz. Expect big numbers on Sunday again!”

If the Sunday collections are good, it is expected that the movie will cover the entire business of its initial installment “Singham” within the first week.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, “Singham Returns” marks the return of ‘Bajirao Singham’, the titular role played by Ajay Devgn in the movie. It also stars Amol Gupte and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles.

The overseas collections of “Singham Returns” is not yet known, but is expected to do well in key markets of Australia, US and UK.
