‘Kick’ Second Day Box-Office Collection Report

With a thunderous start at the box office, Bollywood star Salman Khan’s new release “Kick”, which released on July 25, 2014 is all set to create new records on second day.

The 2nd day collections of “Kick” should be much higher than the first day according to most trade analysts, much thanks to the weekend crowd pull.

The first day collections of “Kick” were as estimated Rs. 26 crore in India, and if the actual numbers arrive, the amount can go high.

The 2nd day’s collections was Rs 27.15 crores and 3rd day it was Rs 30.18. Weekend Total: Rs 83.83 crores.

Directed by Sajid Nadiadwala, “Kick” had a wide release on 4000+ screens in India and in over 700 screens across the world. The second day collections of “Kick” can be more than 30 crores, industry experts believe.

1st day – Rs 26.50 cr
2nd day – Rs 27.15 cr
3rd day – Rs 30.18 cr
4th day – Rs 14.41 cr

Total – Rs 98.14 India box-office

Overseas Rs 20 cr

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted on Twitter, “Despite pre-Eid period + working day, #Kick opens to PHENOMENAL numbers. Fri ₹ 26.40 cr+ nett. India biz. Note:- Early estimates.”

The movie, which also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, has been breaking records around the world, as well. Taran further posted, “#Kick is the HIGHEST Salman Khan opener in USA-Canada.

“Collects $ 340,000 [₹ 2.04 cr] on Fri. AWESOME!” “Kick” is also the biggest opener of 2014, to be followed by others like “Gunday”, “2 States” and “Ek Villain”.

Although the movie hasn’t managed to cross the mark of Rs 36.22 crore, which was set by “Dhoom 3”, industry leaders are expecting a huge jump over the weekend.

With the colossal pull of Salman Crowd fans and decent reviews, the weekend total of “Kick” should be impressive.
