After creating much hype with its trailers and the soulful songs, the much delayed and awaited film, “Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah” received mixed reviews from the critics.

Though the pre-release buzz was massive and carried a lot of expectations, we are yet to see if the story is able to impress the audiences.

Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah

The film has been directed by Anees and the plot of the film includes some of the pioneer actors like, Heebah Patel, Abhishek, Deekshitha, Dinesh and Mayilsamy, Jai, Nazriya Nazim in the main supporting and central roles.

The film revolves around the two protagonists who fall in love with each other and subsequently learn more about Islam- the religion.

Next what happens is interesting, the movie seems to be a complete package of thriller, drama and romance.

Critics have liked the plot of the film but also feel the film failed to be executed in the best possible way. Jai and Vishnu Priya have been casted well but a better execution could have taken the film to the very top.

Critics have very strong viewpoints. Though they are complementing Anees on building such a great plot in his debut film, they have also criticised him for putting in some unnecessary songs, and a completely forced action sequence in the end.

The only outstanding thing about the film is Ghibran’s music, with ‘Chillendra Chillendra..’ and ‘Kannukul Pothi Vaithen..’ standing out from the lot. They all feel that though Anees has tried to show something real and valuable he failed when it came to executing what he had on his mind.

Choreography done in the film has also been appreciated by the critics but the stunt choreography has not been upto the mark for some of them.

The overall picture that we can see after going through what the critics had to say is, Anees has done a splendid job with the plotting of the film but somewhere his execution lacked the perfect mark.

The audiences are yet to comment on the film and we never know they might just have a different opinion altogether
