Akshay Akkineni’s interesting directorial debut Hindi movie “Pizza – 3D” was released this Friday on July 18, 2014. The film features Arunoday Singh, Dipannita Sharma, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Akshay Oberoi.

The horror film marks the astounding performance by Akshay Oberoi who made it a treat to watch this one time watch horror flick. “Pizza 3-D”, a combination of horror and sex, ideally made for the “date-movie” going audiences, promises to scare you in bits and parts.

'Pizza 3D'However, Parvathy performance is disappointing. Her accent is forced and she hardly has anything substantial to play in the film.

The film’s climax sequences leaves the audiences thinking about whether they have been fooled. In other sense, it adds the funny element to the horror flick but it totally comes across as an unreasonable and illogical film.

The film, which is shot in 3-D has gory sequences added with good sound-design. It can be a good film to catch up if you are going with friends or your partners.

The film can definitely promise to lift your mood if you are bored. The movie is entertaining in parts. The actors look good on-screen.

Otherwise, if you are expecting a horror film with a good storyline, it may disappoint you. Watch it for the fun of it. It is definitely a good entertainer.

“Pizza 3-D” which is a supernatural thriller is produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Bejoy Nambiar.
