The world seems to be spending quality time on Facebook at any given time. Social networking patterns have converged into Facebook since a while, and everyone out there is loving it too.

Social networking behavior has changed for the better ever since Facebook and Twitter have made it to the scene. Catching up with old friends, meeting new ones, and storing an online catalog of your daily activities have become possible like never before.

However, apart from the good stuff that Facebook offers you, there are also many an irksome features too that keep you worried.

Among them are updates from friends that keep flowing into your Facebook timeline.

FB block

Most of the time, you find such posts irrelevant and irksome. Also, apps and event invites too keep you irritated.

How do you deal with these irksome factors?  There are ways with which you can block invites and individual users too. Let’s tell you how.

If you would want to block someone, all you need to do is to go t the Privacy Shortcuts menu on your Facebook. You can find it next to the notification icon at the top right-hand corner of your screen.

As it offers options to change who can see your posts and who can comment on them, you can quickly block an annoying user.

It in fact tells you how to stop someone from bothering you. You just have to key in the person’s name or email address. Once you do that, you will know that he / she has been clocked from viewing your profile or messages and would not be able to message you anymore. All these are done, even without the user knowing that he/she has been clocked.

Another way of keeping those annoying friends at bay is to add them to a restricted list that will only show them posts you make public. For this, go to the Settings menu and you find a blocking option there.  You can click on the down arrow placed next to the Privacy Shortcuts button and do what you intend to do.

By doing this, you will also be able to block certain people from inviting you to events and apps too.

Talking of annoying apps, you can do away with them too easily. Below the Blocking section you need to just type the name of the app you would like to block. You can rest assured that it has been blocked.

Are you trying these out now?
