Well, we all are familiar with the various tablets currently available in the market. Among the many, Samsung has launched many variants of tabs and has also succeeded in making them popular. All these tabs comes with a 2560 x 1600 display or lower.

Recently at the Rolland Garros French Open, a new 12 inch Samsung Tab was seen, seemingly with a 4K display and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.

We are talking about 10 million pixel display here. This tab sported the Samsung logo, home button and the two capacitive buttons.

As reported by TechRadar, this Samsung 12in 4K tablet prototype was spotted streaming French Open video content during an LTE Broadcast demonstration, though somewhat ironically, the video content was just 720p.

Qualcomm reckons 4K tablets will be a reality before the end of the year. Currently there is no other 4k display tab in the market except for the Panasonic Toughpad which is not actually attractive because of its size.

This Samsung creation seemed easy to hold and if the display is one of the best then it is going to be a revolution in the market just like how the Galaxy S series Mobile Phones managed to do.

Not many details are available as of now, though. We guess we need to wait before we risk any speculation. Hang on, so that we can go looking for more on this one.
