Sony Teaser Hints at Successor to Xperia Z Ultra; Bigger Device in the Offing

June 3, 2014, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

It wasn’t long ago that Sony had brought to our midst its Xperia Z Ultra. The device was a charmer in its own right.

The Xperia Z Ultra had climbed on to headline space for its claim that it would be the device that would minimize the thin blurred line that separates the smartphone from the tablet.

By all counts, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra came about as an awesome device with  6.44 inches of screen real estate.

Even before all the euphoria about this device refuse to die down, Sony seems all set to bring to the world a successor to the Xperia Z Ultra.

Going by what we get to see from a teaser image that the company has posted, we need to be sure that the successor is already on its way to our midst.

Look at the teaser and what appears is a Sony handset placed next to a model. Look closer and you will get to know the focus is on the device, with the silhouetted image of the model in the backdrop.

Now do some deep digging and it would appear that the phone shown in the teaser is big, indeed bigger than the predecessor. And, you also have a tweet over there that whispers “Shh… do you want to know a secret? Stay tuned for the next big thing this season.”

Even as we ae left wondering as to what the secret could be, we have started admiring the image of the phone and the possible size it would come showing off.

Though we aren’t so sure whether this one is indeed the Xperia Z Ultra successor, we would like to believe it indeed is.  What we get to hear is that it could also be a  Sony Xperia Z3, which we think is a remote chance as the Xperia Z2 was unveiled only a few months ago.

Let’s go find out the secret the tweet has hinted at too. Join us as we try and get to unearth more info on that.  We need to say we love the designs  Sony has been outing for quite some time now.
