May 9, 2014, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

There are many who have bought their LG G2 from their preferred carrier.  Chances are that your carrier has locked the device at sale. If you are among those who would want to SIM unlock the phone, we have here for you a few steps on how to go about doing that.

SIM unlocking the LG G2 carries a cost, though. This is to let you own the SIM Unlock Code.

The 5.2 inches True HD IPS 1080×1920 display, Android device that is powered by a 2.26 Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 Chipset is an awesome device you wouldn’t want to let go even when you would like to switch over to a new carrier network.  This is here the SIM Unlock Code comes in handy.

All you need to do is to go to Google Play Store and catch hold of a tool that you can use to unlock.  So find your LG G2 app from the Play Store and install it on your smart device.

Once you have done that key in your LG G2 details such as country, network from where you bought the phone. Proceed further by entering your phone’s IMEI number. (You will be able to find the LG G2 IMEI number on the phone’s original box or just open the Dialler and dial *#06#).

You will be asked for payment, and so do that next via PayPal or credit card. Verify your email address and you will get a message with the Unlock Code in it.

Now just enter the LG G2 Unlock Code, and you are done.
