A screenshot of your high score while in the midst of a favourite game could prove helpful to boast of your talent among friends. Further, screenshots may come n handy when you would go about demonstrating app features, games and OS updates.

So, with your Sony Xperia Z1 in your palm, you would want a screenshot done. All you need to do initially is to go to the screen you want to capture.

The next task would be to press and hold Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously.

Once you have done this, you will hear the camera shutter sound along with the flickering of the screen.  The screenshot has been made, and to access it  you will have to pull down the Notification bar or go to Gallery and verify the Screenshot folder.

Okay, now if you think the button combo we mentioned is difficult, there is an app to help you out. It is called the Screenshot by Lovekara, which is available at the Google Play Store.

Also you need to check if your  Xperia Zi runs a custom ROM. If it does, go to advanced settings  to look if it lets you enable ‘Screenshot’ button for the Power menu. If it is present, enable it.

Make sure that whenever you press the Power button, the option to screen capture your device needs to accompany the Power Off, Restart and all the other Sony Xperia Z1 options.

There could be many more ways too to go about effectively capturing a screenshot. Do you have an easier way to tell us? Scribble down what you have to say in the comments box provided below.
