Sammy has big plans for MWC 2014 and the biggest is that the company would unveil its new flagship product there.

What grabs our attention on the invitation is the number 5 , which could very well mean that the new Samsung flagship is indeed the Samsung Galaxy S5.

The references to the number 5 suggest that the wraps would be lifted off the upcoming Galaxy S5.

Though Samsung is tightlipped on what the number 5 refers to, according to folks at The Verge, the tech arena has ample reasons to believe that the box which would be opened will contain the Samsung Galaxy S5.

As far as we have heard, Samsung has been gearing up to launch the S5 ahead of an April date. This February 24th could be that, probably.

The device is expected to carry along an iris scanner and a fresh design. The design alteration could have stemmed from the fact that the customers weren’t very happy about the similar designs the S3 and the S4 had sported.

Further, a brand new version of the Galaxy Gear smartwatch might also accompany the S5 launch.

A month ago we had told you about the grapevine buzz that hinted at a February 23 launch date for the device.  Then it was rumored that the device would come with a 20 megapixel camera, an upgraded front-facing snapper, Google’s Android 4.4 Kitkat mobile operating system and a 2,900mAh battery.

It looks like the launch rumors are turning true. So, now tell us, don’t you have a reason to go to Barcelona this month end?
