LG G Pro 2 to Come Ahead of G3; May Hit MWC Showcase

January 24, 2014, By Sanjeev Ramachandran

The grapevine buzz had earlier indicated that a new device is under development at the LG stables. We also heard what LG was working on was a successor to its last year’s flagship model.

Christened LG G3,  the device is now said to be gearing up for  another sibling.

The new one dubbed LG G Pro 2 is expected to be shown off at the Mobile World Congress 2014 which will begin next month.

That also means that the G Pro 2 will come ahead of the G3. Not many details of the G Pro 2 have been revealed. But from the scarce info we have with us, it is likely that the G Pro 2 might come sporting a huge 6 inch display of 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.

We also expect the handset to have a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset with Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM under the bonnet.

The device is also expected to be driven by Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed out of the box. These are just guesswork, going by what LG has hinted at.

For a clearer picture we might have to wait till the curtains go up on the MWC 2014. Stay with us as we go hunting for more.
