Techno Source and KD Interactive are together making an innovation in children’s tablets by offering full time parental control and connectivity along with debuting with its Kurio 7x 4G LTE.

The new model has in fact, retained the parental control settings along with typical kids tablets that enable parents to create up to eight user profiles.

They can also set time limits and even block websites which are unsafe. The Kurio 7x 4G LTE’s connectivity is bound to extent even beyond Wi-Fi, thanks to its Wireless WAN capability.

Eric Levin, the division head at Techno Source says that today’s families are always on the go, and there is no need for the kids tablet experience to end with WiFi. What his company does is to provide better technology at affordable rates, he says.

The device runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean OS and is driven by a quad core processor. The tablet also offers Bluetooth connectivity and advanced parental controls that can be controlled via mobiles. This also includes geolocation and data management.

Techno Source  has not specified a price for the tablet, but the company does claim that Verizon customers adding a tablet to their Share Everything Plan will have to pay US$10 more. It is expected to hit the market around 2014.
